Role Summary: As a GTT Data Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic environment helping internal and external clients solve complex business problems with insight data analysis by partnering with internal and external clients to evaluate the business needs with respect to GTT’s strategy and goals. Job Scope/Supervision: This role will collaborate with other developers, data architects, and business and data analysts to ensure data quality and consistency across reporting solutions. This role will have managerial responsibilities. Duties and Responsibilities: As a GTT Manager, Data Analyst, your responsibilities may include: • Manage/lead team members by guiding and overseeing the data analyst team • Define project goals, timelines and deliverables • Coordinate with other departments to align data initiatives with business objectives • Establish data governance policies and procedures • Strong analytical, problem solving and quantitative analysis skills using structured and unstructured data • Follows an agile methodology for all standard SDLC phases that includes but not limited to: o Validation of performance metrics requirements o Creation of Epics/User Stories/Tasks o Testing – Integration, load, and stress test o Deployment publication internally and externally • Work with stakeholders to prioritize data and information needs across all projects. • Serve as a primary point of contact for data related queries • Develop and implement data analysis strategies • Ensure data integrity and quality • Perform data analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data. • Identify trends within the data and identify types of data needed to track 2 • Establish GTT’s best practices for data owners to understand and utilize the data self-serve source functionality. • Work closely with the Data Architects and Data Engineers on implementation designs and data acquisition strategies for an optimal data design. • Support interactive Power BI training programs focused on reporting tool proficiency, data visualization best practices, and end-user data training and enablement. • Work with management to ensure data governance policies continue to expand in adoption. • Works closely with data owners on data lineage and data dictionary • As part of continuous improvement, identify the process gaps to improve, and implement best practices in data analysis • Encourage a culture for continuous learning and development within the team Required Experience/Qualifications: • 7+ years of professional experience in building dashboards, data visualization tools such as Power BI • 3+ years of experience in leading and mentoring data analyst team • Ability to plan, execute and oversee multiple projects simultaneously • Proficiency in writing complicated yet efficient PSQL and SQL queries and stored procedures. • Very good understanding of database systems SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL • Full understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing, and data transformation. • Experience designing and developing scripts using Python. • Experience on agile sprint process • Strong knowledge of Power BI architecture, applying business rules and data validations. • Experience in end-to-end implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) reports & dashboards. • Comfortable in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources. • Strong analytical, problem solving and quantitative analysis skills using structured and unstructured data • Ability to effectively interact with, present information to, and respond to questions from all levels of the organization and partners. • Ability to communicate complex analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner. • Comfortable with ambiguity, creative thinking, and leading change. • Knowledge of ETL concepts and experience in working with ETL tools • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts • A mentoring mindset and comfort engaging and training less experienced colleagues. • High attention to detail & forward thinking • Ability to work individually or within a team in a fast-paced environment Hours/Travel/Shift: Core Competencies • Core Application Systems: Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application, or operation. • Technical Writing/Documentation: Knowledge of technical writing; ability to write technical 3 documents such as manuals, reports, guidelines or documents on standards, processes, and applications.
