1. You will be responsible for independently leading the Electrical Department and ensuring smooth electrical operations across critical plant equipment, including mixers, calendars, extruders, cutters, and bead manufacturing systems. You will oversee electrical troubleshooting, system optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and operational reliability.
2. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing preventive maintenance activities for all electrical systems and equipment to minimize unexpected failures and enhance plant productivity. You will ensure maintenance activities are carried out in line with standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and maintenance schedules.
3. You will be responsible for managing breakdown and shutdown maintenance activities, ensuring quick fault identification, root cause analysis, and effective corrective actions to minimize production downtime. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely restoration of equipment and smooth plant operations during shutdowns and emergencies.
4. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, programming support, and maintenance of Rockwell drives and PLC systems to ensure seamless automation and process control within the plant. You will also support process improvements, system upgrades, and automation initiatives to improve operational performance and equipment reliability.
5. You will be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to all plant safety standards, participating in safety audits, addressing near-miss incidents, and ensuring compliance with MSR and other safety requirements. You will actively promote a strong safety culture by implementing corrective and preventive actions and ensuring safe work practices across all maintenance activities.
6. You will be responsible for effective spare parts management, including monitoring inventory levels, planning critical spares, reducing stock-out risks, and developing indigenous spare solutions to optimize maintenance costs and improve spare availability. You will also coordinate with vendors and procurement teams for timely sourcing and standardization of spare parts.
7. You will be responsible for managing departmental budgets, controlling maintenance expenditures, and driving cost optimization initiatives without compromising operational efficiency and safety. You will also lead and execute departmental projects, including equipment upgrades, automation improvements, and reliability enhancement initiatives within defined timelines and budget targets.
8. You will be responsible for ensuring high plant reliability and maintaining equipment downtime within AOP targets through effective maintenance planning, reliability improvement programs, predictive maintenance practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will analyze equipment performance trends and implement proactive measures to enhance overall plant efficiency and productivity.
