We’re looking for Manager of Finance & Legal Systems Operations to join Procore’s Finance and Legal Technologies Team. In this role, you’ll lead our Pune-based Center of Excellence. This role is for a "player-coach" who excels at bridging the gap between daily tactical operations and strategic system evolution.
You will be responsible for the health of our global finance tech stack (NetSuite, Coupa, Zuora, etc.), managing a high-performance team, and acting as a strategic gatekeeper for system changes. A critical component of this role is the ability to use Jira Service Management (JSM) to create sophisticated dashboards that translate raw ticket data into actionable insights for both the local team and executive leadership.
This position reports into the Director of Finance and Legal Technologies and will be based in our Pune, India We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
1. Operational Reporting & Data Visualization
- Tiered Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain JSM/Jira dashboards tailored to different audiences:
- Operational Level: Real-time views for the team to manage daily queues, bottlenecks, and urgent incidents.
- Executive Level: High-level "health of the operation" reports for leadership, focusing on trends, SLA attainment, and SOX executions.
- KPI Management: Define and report on critical success factors, including Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR), First Contact Resolution (FCR), and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT).
2. Strategic Change Liaison & Discovery
- Change Packaging: Aggregate recurring issues into comprehensive "Change Packages" for onshore Scrum teams
- Deep-Dive Discovery: Ensure every escalation is backed by thorough research. You will provide the "why," the root cause analysis, and the discovery work already completed, justifying why the work requires a formal Scrum sprint.
3. Functional Process & Tech Stack Oversight
- Business Logic Mastery: Lead the support for Order-to-Revenue (O2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), and audit / SOX controls execution cycles.
- Hands-On Support: Maintain expert-level administration of NetSuite (ERP), Zip/Coupa (Procurement), Concur (Expense), and Zuora Billing/Revenue for Access, Service Requests, and Incident Management
- Compliance & SOX: Execute and audit internal controls to ensure the systems remain audit-ready at all times.
4. People Leadership & Local Culture
- Mentorship: Minimum 4–5 years of management experience. Actively drive the professional development and technical upskilling of your 4–6 direct reports.
- Atmosphere: Foster a high-performance, engaging, and positive culture in Pune. Be the approachable, local leader who is present for the team's daily needs.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: 4–5+ years in people management;
- 8+ years in Finance Systems/ITSM.
- Reporting Expertise: Advanced ability to build custom reports, JQL filters, and dashboards in Jira Service Management.
- Functional Tech Stack: Mandatory hands-on experience with Finance Systems. Experience with Coupa, Zuora, Zip, or Concur is highly preferred.
- Agility & ITSM: Strong foundation in ITSM/ITIL frameworks and Kanban methodologies.
- Communication: "Lean" communication style—able to provide executive-ready summaries and detailed technical handoffs.
