People Office Overview

Role Overview
This key position will primarily support our growing India Market, supporting over 150 employees across our consulting business groups including in Risk Advisory services, Data and Technology and Transaction Advisory and support our Ankura Business Services (ABS) teams including – Finance, IT, Marketing and People Office. The selected candidate will play a critical role in advancing our people initiatives, providing outstanding internal stakeholder guidance and support, and assisting in driving HR functional excellence and process improvements. This role is based out of our Gurgaon, India office and reports to the Head of HR EMEA/APAC with dual accountability to ABS Lead in India. This position requires being onsite 5 days a week in our Gurgaon office. Therefore, the selected candidate needs to be based in Gurgaon. While the expectation for the role is to be primarily focused on our India market, there will be opportunities to support other markets as needed.
Responsibilities

Assist in delivering impactful HR programs and processes forward, tailoring as appropriate for the India and other markets
Develop exceptional working relationships with various stakeholders across career levels while effectively collaborating on the delivery of People initiatives
Responsible for HR Compliance in India, including audits and reporting, gathering and reporting of required data, staying abreast of evolving employment regulations and practices, etc.
Assist with onboarding for all new joiners in India and other markets
Responsible for employee relations and investigations, including management of POSH
Manage the leaver process
Drive the delivery of our annual performance management process
Conduct needs analyses, program design and delivery related to employee engagement opportunities
Documenting and processing employee changes
Collaborate with global centers of excellence and other colleagues across the People Office, ABS and more broadly as needed
Will provide local supervision and support to our People office team members in India
Performs other related duties as needed and/or assigned; support across the EMEA and APAC region where required
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of HR experience including a significant amount employee relations experience.
Experience in the consulting industry highly preferred
Knowledge of and experience working with global shared services team.
Excellent stakeholder relationship development and management skills
Familiarity with Workday
Ability to develop rapport and strong working relationships
Clearly, concisely, and professionally present concepts and recommendations
Action-oriented and eager to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, and enthusiasm
Pragmatic and hands-on to get things done and take on responsibility end to end for tasks
Ability to think critically, logically, and analytically
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
