Manage and coordinate the engineering change management process from initiation through implementation. Review change requests, facilitate cross-functional reviews, track status, maintain documentation in PLM/ERP, communicate changes, monitor schedules, support impact analysis and risk assessments, prepare metrics, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with policies and industry standards.
- Coordinate and manage the Engineering Change Management (ECM/ECO/ECN) process from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Review engineering change requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures.
- Facilitate cross-functional reviews with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Planning, and other stakeholders.
- Track the status of engineering changes and ensure timely approvals and implementation.
- Maintain accurate engineering change documentation, records, and revision history within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and ERP systems.
- Communicate approved engineering changes to all impacted departments and ensure implementation activities are completed as planned.
- Monitor change implementation schedules and escalate delays or issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure configuration management and product documentation remain aligned with approved engineering changes.
- Support risk assessments and impact analysis related to design, manufacturing, inventory, quality, and customer requirements.
- Prepare reports and metrics related to engineering change activities, cycle time, and process performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering change management process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.
