Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated MS SQL Developer with 2–3 years of experience in database development, query optimization, and data management. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, functions, views, and database performance tuning. The candidate will work closely with development, BI, and support teams to design, develop, and maintain efficient database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases and database objects.
  • Create and manage Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, and Indexes.
  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Analyze and improve database performance through query tuning and optimization.
  • Design and implement database structures based on business requirements.
  • Support application development teams with database-related activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in development, testing, and production environments.
  • Perform data validation, data migration, and ETL-related tasks.
  • Ensure database security, integrity, and availability.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for database solutions.

Required Skills

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong knowledge of T-SQL programming.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining:
    • Stored Procedures
    • Functions
    • Views
    • Triggers
    • Indexes
  • Experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Understanding of database normalization and relational database concepts.
  • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  • Knowledge of data migration and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with source control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Exposure to Power BI or reporting tools.
  • Basic understanding of Azure SQL Database.
  • Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and maintenance activities.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
