.NET Developer with Azure Cloud, C#, and Enterprise Application Expertise

Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer (Microsoft Azure, C#) to lead the development and support of enterprise-grade solutions within the Microsoft technology ecosystem. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and performant applications aligned with business needs. The successful candidate will serve as a technical expert, driving innovation, implementing best practices, and ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions that support Synechron’s digital transformation and client objectives.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Extensive experience with the .NET framework, including .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC

  • Strong proficiency in C# programming language (latest versions preferred)

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Service Bus, etc.)

  • Knowledge of SharePoint and Dynamics 365 architectures and integrations

  • Familiarity with Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipelines

  • Working knowledge of SQL Server and Entity Framework Core for database access and data management

• Preferred:

  • Front-end familiarity with React, Angular, or similar frameworks

  • PowerShell scripting and automation tools for deployment and configuration

  • Experience with DevOps practices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and support of enterprise .NET applications on-premises and in Azure cloud environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and implement scalable solutions.

• Serve as the technical lead for project delivery, overseeing code quality, performance, and security standards.

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices in .NET and Azure solutions.

• Create and maintain architecture documentation, deployment plans, and operational procedures.

• Drive automation initiatives for deployment, configuration, and monitoring to improve operational efficiency.

• Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable deployment cycles.

• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and security assessments to ensure high standards of quality.

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend strategic improvements.

• Demonstrated expertise leading technical projects, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Strong background in SQL Server, data management, and performance optimization.

• Experience supporting applications in finance, banking, or regulated industries is a plus.

• Support experience in DevOps practices, continuous deployment, and automation preferred.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop, test, and deploy enterprise .NET applications aligned with business priorities.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements.

• Conduct code reviews, optimize application performance, and ensure security standards are met.

• Support Azure cloud deployments, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues.

• Automate deployment, testing, and configuration tasks to streamline processes.

• Document architecture, deployment procedures, and operational best practices.

• Keep abreast of new Microsoft technologies and industry trends, suggesting improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate, or similar are preferred.

• 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise application development and cloud integration.

• Proven ability to lead projects, mentor team members, and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on security and performance.
