Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and performance. This role requires a strong understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and security principles.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco firewalls using CLI and Firewall Management Center.
• Deploy and manage site-to-site VPNs for delivery customers.
• Configure and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls within Azure environments and Azure Front Door CDN.
• Configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto Prisma SASE platform.
• Manage and maintain IPS/IDS systems
• Configure and troubleshoot network switches, including VTP, VLANs, and STP.
• Operate and configure network routers, including Cisco SDWAN technologies.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and manage WiFi environments.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize wireless access points across enterprise environments.
• Analyze and resolve WiFi performance issues, ensuring seamless connectivity across access points.
• Automate network deployments and updates using Ansible, Python, and Cisco DNA.
• Configure VoIP solutions using AudioCodes, Microsoft Teams, and Amazon Connect.
• Manage and configure network policies via Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
• Engage with Endava delivery teams for configuration and troubleshooting tasks.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or Palo Alto certifications are preferred.
Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering, supporting both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Proven expertise in managing network technologies in enterprise and cloud setups.
• Experience with WiFi environment management
• Hands-on experience in network automation and scripting
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco firewalls (CLI and Firewall Management Center).
• Strong knowledge of VPN configuration, including site-to-site VPNs.
• Experience with Palo Alto Prisma SASE and Fortinet firewalls in Azure.
• Expertise in Azure, Cisco SDWAN, and Identity Services Engine (ISE).
• Strong understanding of IPS/IDS and WAF systems
• Knowledge of network protocols (VTP, VLANs, STP) and router/switch configuration.
• Proven experience configuring and optimizing WiFi environments, including access points, controllers
• Experience with VoIP technologies
• Scripting skills in SPL, Python or Ansible for automation and reporting.
