Java Big Data Developer - Experienced

We are looking for an exceptional and passionate Java Big Data Developer - Senior to join our Development Team in Pune Location.

As a Cognyter, you will:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality BigData systems and services.
• Take ownership of features and components aligned with your experience level.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secured solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code generation, code review assistants, automation tools) to improve productivity and code quality.
• Continuously improve engineering processes, system design, and code quality.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 6-9 years of experience in java development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, system design, and design patterns.
• 2-3 years of experience in building and maintaining scalable, distributed systems or microservices architectures.
• Proficiency in the Big Data ecosystem, with hands-on experience in Spark, Hadoop, and related technologies.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka).
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and problem-solving.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fast learner, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving tech environment.
