Founded in 2015, Shawne Applebee International (SAI) is a boutique consulting firm specializing in Digital Security, Business Advisory, and Technology Solutions. We partner with small and mid-sized businesses to help them grow through smart, secure, and efficient use of digital technology. For our local operations in Mauritius, we are looking for an Office Administrator

Your role

As our Office Administrator, you’ll be the heartbeat of our daily operations keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring our local operations remains organised, welcoming, and supportive. You’ll collaborate closely with teammates across departments and play a key part in creating a positive office experience for everyone.

What you’ll do:

  • Be the friendly first point of contact for visitors, clients, and team members.

  • Organize meetings, appointments, and travel with attention to detail.

  • Keep our office running efficiently — from recordkeeping and scheduling to inventory and supplies.

  • Support our HR, marketing and finance activities with everyday tasks such as onboarding, payroll support, and attendance tracking.

  • Prepare presentations, reports, and other internal materials.

  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to maintain a pleasant, safe, and well-equipped workspace.

  • Help foster a collaborative, supportive, and professional work environment.

  • Protect confidentiality and handle information with discretion.

What We’re Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.

  • Prior experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally in a professional services or consulting setting.

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Great people skills — approachable, positive, and dependable.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a knack for problem-solving.

  • The ability to work independently while staying connected to a team.

  • A willingness to take initiative and improve the way things are done.
