The Specialist, Operational Performance & Analytics, is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of our shipboard operations. This role involves working closely with various departments to analyze financial performance, identify areas for cost savings, and implement efficient financial processes. You will be responsible for managing financial reporting, conducting variance analysis, and supporting the development of financial forecasts and budgets. This position calls for a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. • Analyse financial data related to shipboard operations, providing reports and insights to stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough variance analyses to identify discrepancies and propose actionable solutions.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for shipboard departments.
• Collaborate with operational managers to optimize financial performance and control costs.
• Monitor Onboard revenue streams and Operational expenses to ensure alignment with financial goals and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions and operational initiatives.
• Prepare and present financial summaries and findings to senior management and departmental teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in finance or analytical roles, preferably within the cruise and/or hospitality industry
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and metrics
• Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of Business Intelligence tools to create visualizations that enhance data-driven decision-making
• Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
