Job Summary: The Oracle Apps DBA is responsible for providing technical and functional support for database monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, cloning troubleshooting, performance tuning, and application system updates. The role involves working closely with development teams to enhance system performance and ensure the seamless operation of Oracle E-Business Suite applications and be a member of 24*7*365 support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, patch, upgrade, configure, tune, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1. and 12.2 and 11g/12c/19c databases.
- Develop SQL and PL/SQL, shell scripts for alerts, monitoring, reporting, and auditing.
- Oracle Apps/DB performance tuning.
- Deploy code and setup changes to production environments.
- Participate in system administration and operational support, including maintenance, support, reviewing and analyzing system logs, and problem reports.
- Assist in monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with minimum 6+ years of Oracle DBA experience in a Multi-Node, Multi-Tier environment.
- Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP),
- Strong knowledge of Oracle applications architecture,
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1, 12.2, 11g, and 12c/19c DB
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Perl, and Shell scripting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear and concise documentation.
