Database Installation and Configuration:

Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software.
Create and maintain database instances.
Database Maintenance and Performance:

Perform routine database maintenance tasks such as backup and recovery, tablespace management, and index optimization.
Monitor and tune database performance to ensure optimal query execution and system efficiency.
Security and Access Control:

Implement and maintain database security measures, including user access control, role assignments, and data encryption.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Data Backup and Recovery:

Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data.
Test and verify database backups regularly.
Patch and Upgrade Management:

Apply patches, updates, and version upgrades as necessary to keep the database environment current and secure.
Database Design and Development Support:

Collaborate with application developers to design and optimize database schemas.
Assist with SQL query tuning and optimization.
High Availability and Disaster Recovery:

Implement and maintain high availability solutions such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard.
Develop and test disaster recovery plans.
Monitoring and Reporting:

Monitor database performance and health using tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
Generate and analyze performance and usage reports.
Documentation and Training:

Maintain documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies.
Train and support other team members and stakeholders in database-related matters.
