Position Overview:
The Junior Legal Counsel will support the legal team across a wide range of corporate and administrative matters. This includes assisting with drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing corporate governance tasks, supporting KYB/KYC onboarding processes, and helping maintain smooth legal operations. The role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in corporate, real estate and crypto law, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
The Junior Legal Counsel will also assist with family office support, real estate transactions governed by Cyprus law and support the corporate governance of Cyprus and offshore companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Support:
Draft, review, and support execution of legal documents across all company departments
Maintain internal legal knowledge and documentation.
Corporate & Governance Support:
Assist in preparing board resolutions, minutes, registers, and internal governance documentation;
Maintain company registers and handle day-to-day corporate administration, including communication with banks, institutions, and service providers, while supporting broader corporate governance for the group’s companies.
Assist with KYB/KYC onboarding documentation and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
Administrative & Operational Support:
Help document and improve internal legal workflows;
Track deadlines, organize legal tasks, and maintain compliance calendars;
Support with legal invoicing and vendor agreements
Project & Documentation Management:
Coordinate document execution and filing;
Maintain organised and up-to-date internal legal documentation;
Support legal operations related to audits, due diligence, and corporate filings.
You have:
Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field; common law background preferred.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Familiarity with contract management and compliance processes.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in legal tech tools and document management systems is a plus i.e. sumsub, asana
