Prime Risk India Sr Developer

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

Join us as a Prime Risk India Senior Developer – VP, where you will play a pivotal role in engineering the foundational components of the global Prime Services Front Office Risk Platform (Liquid Financing). You will contribute to a multi‑year modernization journey, transforming a legacy monolithic architecture into a cloud‑native, scalable, resilient ecosystem supporting revenue‑critical operations across APAC, EMEA, and AMER. This role requires a hands‑on technologist with deep expertise in AWS, Python, and low‑latency platform engineering, able to work front‑to‑back with global teams. You will build the core technical foundations for intraday risk, financing revenue, PnL attribution, regulatory compliance, and real‑time analytics—ensuring the platform is resilient, secure, observable, and performance‑optimized. Candidates who add strength in areas such as AI/ML (RAG & agentic workflows), Visualization (Angular/Power BI), Microservices & API Architecture, or Data Governance & Data Products will be especially valued.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:

• Designing and delivering cloud native, event driven, microservices aligned architectures using AWS (Lambda, S3, Glue, Athena, CloudWatch), Hadoop/Spark, Kafka, and related data engineering tooling.
• Building low latency data pipelines, real time analytics engines, and enterprise data models for front office and financing workloads.
• Driving strong engineering discipline — code reviews, automated validation, performance tuning, observability, and enterprise grade CI/CD practices.
• Partnering with global architects and senior stakeholders to convert conceptual designs into production ready components, and leading Agile delivery with clear requirements, estimation, and end to end ownership.
• Ensuring production readiness across resilience, monitoring, alerting, data integrity, and operational stability, while supporting RTB operations through incident triage, RCA, and robust fixes.
• Non-negotiable competencies: AWS, Python, low latency engineering, and experience working in globally distributed environments.
