You will be working as a part of Lending & Integrated Channels Technology to achieve their strategic objectives through planning, prioritising, delivering and supporting projects and initiatives. Your team’s success will be realised through partnering with business and IT teams across both Lending & Integrated Channels business domain and Technology to deliver beautiful experiences and exceptional capabilities to our branch applications

Roles & Responsibilities
- Define and execute technical vision and strategy across the entire product organisation, working directly with executive leadership to align technical and business objectives.
- Lead architectural decisions for complex, multi-system initiatives that span multiple teams and product areas, setting technical direction for the organisation.
- Drive end-to-end ownership of critical technical initiatives that directly impact business outcomes and competitive advantage.
- Pioneer the integration of breakthrough AI technologies - including next-generation agentic AI and emerging paradigms - establishing our technical leadership in AI-driven product development.
- Lead industry research in AI/ML applications, contribute to technical community, and establish our organisation as a thought leader in AI-enabled product engineering.
- Define engineering culture, standards, and practices that scale across a growing organisation - establishing excellence as a foundational principle.
- Identify and lead transformational technical initiatives that create significant competitive advantages.
- Build and mentor technical leadership pipeline, developing the next generation of senior and staff engineers.
- Navigate and resolve complex technical and organisational challenges that require both technical depth and business judgement.
- Represent our technical capabilities and vision to investors, partners, and the broader technical community.
- Should actively participates in all LT meetings.
- Have the ability to collaborate, present ideas, perform reviews and mentor other junior engineers.
Essential Skills
- 18+ years experience in software engineering with 5+ years in senior technical leadership roles, with a track record of driving technical strategy in high-growth organisations.
- Distinguished technical expertise with a portfolio of complex systems and architectural decisions that have driven significant business impact.
- Proven ability to provide visionary technical leadership: defining industry practices, establishing technical culture, and driving organisational transformation.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-quarter initiatives that span engineering, product, and business organisations.
- Extensive experience developing technical talent and building high-performing engineering organisations.
- Executive-level communication skills: able to influence GM+ leadership, board members, and external stakeholders on technical strategy.
- Systems thinking: proven ability to balance technical excellence, product innovation, and business constraints at organisational scale.
- Entrepreneurial experience: track record of building scalable systems and teams in high-growth environments.
- Industry recognition through technical contributions, thought leadership, or innovation.
- Well versed in dot net, UI tech stack and big data technologies
- Experience with AI/ML systems, agentic AI research, and establishing AI strategies that create competitive advantages.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
