Your Role
In this multi-faceted role, you will be a key contributor to PTC’s Product Development teams, responsible for driving both release execution, as well as strategic programs and initiatives toward achieving the organization’s best-in-class goals. You will be relied on to lead highly complex projects. You will work closely with executive leaders and subject matter experts across departments and business units, and the Program Management Office team to achieve successful project results.
To excel in this role, you must have excellent communications skills, an overall understanding of business processes, SDLC & SDLC tools administration and Data driven decisions. You will be expected to drive best practices, methodologies, tools, data, and improvements. You will be expected to work in a dynamic, collaborative, cross-functional team environment with a global team. You should be detail-oriented and enjoy working with teams to implement projects and initiatives. You should be passionate about process improvement.
Your Impact
PMO shapes the processes and augments R&D in their deliveries across segments and drives high impact programs. You will directly participate in the planning, development and launch of market-leading strategic products across the digital thread portfolio. You will also support the definition and successful execution of strategic R&D programs, on time and to the satisfaction of the stakeholders.
Your Team
You will be part of Central R&D Program Management Office, which works with all product development functions in locations across the world to deliver products. Since the team works across different products, the experience sharing helps continual learning and improvement, aligning with common practices and reaching forward to advance and improve with every product cycle.
Your Day-to-Day
- Administration of SDLC tools like Jira, Codebeamer, Integrity administration.
- Developing Internal Jira Apps for custom usage.
- Use REST APIs to for customization and Integrations.
- Experience in Jira Automations and Groovy script.
- Data Analytics using Oracle Analytics Cloud & Atlassian Analytics.
- Optimize and manage the Developers tools used across R&D.
- Proactively identify, communicate, and manage risks
- Drive process adoption, analyze current processes, identify gaps, and improve processes.
- Define and use tools and business systems required to support existing process and best practices
- Support R&D decision making through analytical reports and appropriate metrics; design and own R&D dashboards; establish status reporting for the cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with other Program and Release managers to define and improve organizational standards for programs, releases, processes and best practices
Must-Have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree; Masters and/or Agile Certification preferred
- 7-12 years of experience in product development organizations, with minimum of 5 years in a Jira , Confluence & Atlassian products administration & project management role.

- Atlassian Analytics or Oracle Analytics cloud.
- Good understanding and working knowledge of SDLC & Agile software product development methodology & SDLC; SAFe knowledge a plus.
- Data savvy: Able to interpret data and use the knowledge for introducing optimization at different levels.
- Working knowledge of Data Analytics tools like Power BI or OAC is added advantage.
- Self-starter who can earn trust and can influence and motivate without authority
- Ability to work independently, as well as mentor and support more junior colleagues as needed
- Proactive in identifying and solving problems, looks beyond the obvious and can find the root of the problem
- Excellent facilitator, able to drive collaboration across the teams
- Experience driving positive change via process improvement
- Keen interest in learning new methodologies & tools.
