Procurement Resource

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a capable and commercially driven Procurement Resource to support our procurement requirements for a wide range of materials, products, goods and services from India and international markets.

The person will be responsible for identifying suitable suppliers, obtaining quotations, negotiating commercial terms, evaluating vendors, coordinating purchases and ensuring that procurement requirements are completed efficiently, cost-effectively and within the required timelines.

This is an output-oriented role. We are not focused on monitoring your exact working hours. You will have the flexibility to choose your 6-hour working window, provided assigned procurement activities and deliverables are completed on time.

• Identify and research suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and exporters in India and overseas.
  
• Source materials, goods and other procurement requirements based on specifications provided by the organization.
  
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.
  
• Negotiate price, payment terms, MOQ, delivery timelines, quality, warranty and other commercial terms.
  
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  
• Evaluate suppliers based on pricing, quality, reliability, capacity and delivery performance.
  
• Handle supplier communication through email, phone, WhatsApp, online platforms and other business channels.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers for samples, product specifications, technical details and documentation.
  
• Support domestic and international procurement transactions.
  
• Research international suppliers and sourcing markets when required.
  
• Coordinate with logistics, shipping and other relevant stakeholders for procurement-related requirements.
  
• Track purchase requirements from enquiry through order completion and delivery.
  
• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, quotations, negotiations, purchase details and procurement status.
  
• Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs and improve commercial terms.
  
• Escalate quality, delivery, pricing or supplier-related issues promptly.
  
• Build a reliable supplier database for recurring procurement requirements.
  
• Ensure procurement is completed within the required budget and timeline.

Important: This is an output and deliverable-driven position. We do not intend to continuously track or record your working time during the selected working window. The expectation is that assigned procurement activities, follow-ups and deliverables are completed within the agreed timelines.

Salary: Up to ₹27,000 per month

Compensation will depend on experience, procurement expertise, negotiation capability and overall suitability for the role.
