Job Description

Purpose of the role

To manage and improve products, and the effective execution of these products.  

Accountabilities

  • Management and improvement of products using agile methodologies to support the monitoring of metrics such as usage, adoption, and customer satisfaction, and to support the development of roadmaps that aim to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of a product.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders including traders, salespeople, risk managers and technology teams to align the product vision and development process.  .
  • Utilisation of market research, analysis of customer feedback and monitoring of industry trends to identify new products, features or enhancements.  .
  • Development and execution of reports and presentations to communicate product updates, features, requirements, acceptance criteria and success stories to relevant stakeholders, including developers.  .
  • Execution of user acceptance testing to validate product concepts, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on design prototypes.  .
  • Development and execution of go-to-market strategies for a smooth launch of new products or features in collaboration with marketing, sales, and customer support teams.  .

  • Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents.
  • Guide and persuade team members and communicate complex / sensitive information.
  • Act as contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function, while building a network of contacts outside team and external to the organisation.

Step into the role of The Product Analyst - Digital supports delivery of customer‑centric Digital products and journeys by translating business and customer needs into clear, actionable requirements. The role partners closely with Product Owners, UX, Engineering, and Digital delivery teams to ensure solutions deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:

  • Analyze customer needs, business problems, and opportunities across Digital channels and platforms.

  • Translate product vision into well-defined epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned to Digital outcomes.

  • Own and maintain high quality backlog artefacts, ensuring items are development ready and value driven.

  • Work within agile, product‑centric teams to support backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and ongoing delivery.

  • Use data, insights, and feedback to support prioritization and continuous improvement of Digital experiences.

  • Proven experience delivering Digital or technology‑led products in agile or product‑based environments.

  • Hands‑on experience defining requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and Digital journeys.

Desirable skills sets:

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a customer‑first mindset.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Experience working closely with Product Owners, UX, and Engineering teams.

  • Comfortable working with data and insights to inform decisions and priorities.
