Product Developer - Full Stack
Join us in building the world’s first Cognitive ERP. As a Product Developer on the Prism team, you’ll help unify Epicor’s customer- and internal-facing developer tools for Kinetic ERP into a common, agentic IDE—and extend the approach across other Epicor ERPs. You’ll ship production-quality software across .NET/C#, Python, REST APIs, Angular, and Azure, with opportunities to apply modern AI (LLMs, retrieval, evaluation) in real ERP workflows.

What We'd Love to See
Working Backwards: Mastery of customer empathy—start from customer pain, design technical solutions that measurably eliminate friction, and validate impact with telemetry.
'Founder Mode' Mindset: Entrepreneurial ownership, creative problem‑solving, and a bias for action that challenges the status quo to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities
Build production software end-to-end: design, implement, test, and deploy features for the AppStudio IDE, SDKs, and extensibility surfaces.
Develop APIs & UIs: create secure, resilient .NET/C# Web APIs (REST/JSON) and rich Angular/TypeScript front-ends, Python-based agentic AI.
Integrate with ERP: consume ERP data models, events, and workflows; contribute to connectors and orchestration patterns.
Quality & automation: add unit/integration tests; maintain CI/CD (Git-based) pipelines; uphold code quality, secure coding, and performance best practices.
Operate what you build: instrument logging/metrics/tracing, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize latency, throughput, and cost in Azure.
Collaborate cross-functionally: work with product, UX, data/AI, support, and services to translate requirements into working software and validate impact via telemetry.
Learn & ship AI features (as needed): help wire tool-use agents, RAG pipelines, prompts, and eval hooks with clear guardrails and human-in-the-loop.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of professional software development and a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience).
Core programming: Strong C#/.NET and solid grounding in OOP, design principles, multithreading, and debugging.
Web & Frontend: Proficiency with REST/Web API and Angular/TypeScript.
Datastores: Experience with relational databases (SQL Server/Postgres), and familiarity with MongoDb and NoSQL.
Cloud & DevOps: Working knowledge of Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, AAD) and Git-based CI/CD.
Agile mindset: Comfortable estimating work, delivering to commitments, and iterating in Scrum/Kanban.
Communication & collaboration: Clear, concise communication; eagerness to learn; openness to feedback.
Additional Qualifications
AI/ML exposure: Practical experience using LLMs (prompting, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, evaluation/telemetry) or traditional ML libraries.
Python for tooling/evaluations/automation; Node.js/TypeScript for SDKs and integration tooling.
Observability & reliability: Distributed tracing, performance profiling, canary/blue-green deployments.
Security & compliance: Identity/role management, secure secrets handling, auditability.
ERP familiarity: Prior work with manufacturing/distribution ERP or developer tooling.
Success Metrics (Examples)
Features delivered on time with strong test coverage, telemetry, and performance budgets met.
Measurable customer outcomes (e.g., reduced customization time, improved accuracy/recall, faster workflows).
Healthy operational metrics (low incident rate/MTTR, steady deploy cadence).
Positive collaboration signals (helpful PRs, clear docs, reliable estimates).
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who loves shipping polished product, cares about developer experience, and wants to apply modern AI responsibly inside mission-critical ERP workflows.
