What You'll Do
As a Product Manager for E-commerce Personalization & Discovery, you will define and execute the product strategy for AI-powered personalization, recommendation engines, and advanced search capabilities across the Athos Commerce platform. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and Commercial teams to deliver scalable B2B SaaS solutions that improve conversion rates, average order value, and customer engagement for ecommerce merchants globally.
How You Will Succeed
- Define and execute the product roadmap for personalization, search, and product discovery solutions
- Drive the development of AI-powered recommendation engines, merchandising tools, and real-time user intent mapping capabilities
- Create detailed product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria for new product features
- Partner with Engineering teams to improve APIs, SDKs, JavaScript integrations, and merchant onboarding experiences
- Develop merchant-facing analytics and reporting capabilities that clearly demonstrate business impact and revenue lift
- Collaborate with Design and UX teams to create intuitive, scalable merchant experiences
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis across ecommerce search, personalization, and MarTech platforms
- Use experimentation frameworks, A/B testing methodologies, and analytics to optimize product performance
- Partner with Customer Success and Sales teams to gather feedback and prioritize feature enhancements
- Act as a subject matter expert on personalization, AI-driven commerce, and search technologies within the organization
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience within B2B SaaS, ecommerce technology, personalization platforms, or MarTech environments
- Strong understanding of ecommerce search infrastructures and personalization technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Algolia)
- Familiarity with machine learning workflows, recommendation systems, and vector database concepts
- Strong analytical skills with experience using SQL, experimentation frameworks, and A/B testing methodologies
- Experience working with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify Plus, Magento/Adobe Commerce, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Experience defining APIs, SDKs, and technical integration requirements
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear customer value propositions
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and agile development methodologies
Nice to Have
- Experience building privacy-compliant or cookie-less personalization solutions
- Experience with predictive cross-sell, upsell, or cart abandonment technologies
- Technical degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Experience within AI-driven ecommerce or retail technology platforms
