The job holder will be part of a cross-company team supporting American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) supply technology initiatives. The job holder will play a critical role with the expansion of AMEX GBT’s Supply MarketPlace (SMP) Platform, executing Functional and Integration Feature Testing while ensuring the right testing environments are maintained.  

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in project specific testing (e.g., SMP Hotel Expansion) per priorities and requirements assigned by the Project and Product Teams.

• Drive functional and business testing to ensure SMP has access to the right content and inventory.

• Perform Point of Sale and downstream integration testing on all applications and system processes available in a country. 
• Work with Product Management to ensure the feature is fit for purpose and work with them to identify and manage risks & issues. 

• Formulate and execute solid test strategies with clear owners and sign-off criteria. 

• Design a test plan based on business processes & scenarios with acceptance criteria. 
• Coordinate testing across various departments and external vendors when needed. 

• Lead a testing bug triage process, assigning the right priority on issues, ensuring all teams works on the highest priority items to ensure timelines are not impacted. 
• Maintain Open Issues log, help identify workarounds. 
• Carry out regular test environment reviews to ensure they are optimized and ready. 

What We’re Looking For:

• Educated to University Degree level.
• Strong experience as a Test Analyst with mandatory travel industry experience.

• Able to work with SMEs, understand business processes & convert into test plans. 

• Logical, structured approach to testing. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

• Strong Team player with proven people management skills. 
• Ability to identify key issues and enact a mitigation plan. 
• Can prioritize and balance multiple tasks. 
• Understands technical or professional aspects and continually maintains technical knowledge.
