Job Description: Program Manager 1. Role Summary The Program Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and delivering multiple related projects within a program to achieve strategic business outcomes. This role ensures alignment across projects, optimizes resource usage, manages interdependencies, and communicates progress to stakeholders. The Program Manager acts as the bridge between executive strategy and on-the-ground project execution. 2. Key Responsibilities A. Program Strategy and Planning Define program scope, objectives, and success criteria in alignment with organizational strategy. Develop and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, and milestones. Ensure projects within the program are mutually consistent and contribute to the program's goals. Establish program governance frameworks and operating rhythms. B. Cross-Project Coordination Manage dependencies, risks, and conflicts across multiple projects. Facilitate resource allocation and capacity planning across project teams. Standardize tools, methodologies, and reporting across the program. Coordinate change management and communication activities. C. Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for program sponsors and executive stakeholders. Provide regular program status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries. Manage expectations and negotiate priorities when trade-offs are required. Facilitate steering committee meetings and decision-making forums. D. Financial and Resource Management Develop and manage the program budget, forecasts, and financial tracking. Ensure cost efficiency and value delivery across the program. Monitor vendor and contract performance when applicable. E. Risk and Issue Management Identify, assess, and mitigat program-level risks and issues. Maintain risk registers and ensure escalation paths are clear. Drive resolution of cross-project blockers.
