Your RoleAs a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality standards across multiple innovative and pivotal projects. These projects focus on the interaction of Creo with Windchill and other cloud-based web applications, which are integral to PTC’s product ecosystem.Your ImpactThis role exists to ensure that PTC’s flagship products—Creo and Windchill—deliver a seamless and reliable experience to our global customer base. You will make a significant impact by programmatically and manually simulating real-world scenarios to validate product readiness. Your work will directly support design departments worldwide, ensuring they can rely on our solutions for optimal performance.Your TeamYou will be part of a dynamic Quality Assurance team responsible for testing and certifying the interaction between Creo and Windchill. The team also focuses on testing cloud-based web apps that assist design engineers in generating optimal design solutions. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with developers, QA leads, product managers, and other stakeholders.Your Day-to-Day- Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product managers to shape and deliver product releases.
- Automate test cases using Selenium and Creo trail files.
- Provide feedback on product quality, identify risks/issues, and make informed decisions in ambiguous situations while balancing quality with timely delivery.
- Certify new product developments, review specifications, define certification criteria, and execute test cases.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Production, or related field) with strong academic records.
- Experience: 1–5 years in Software Quality Assurance with solid knowledge of QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with at least one CAD software (preferably Creo).
- Exposure to PDM/PLM systems.
- Familiarity with automated testing, software programming, or scripting.
- Experience in object-oriented programming using Java is desirable.
