Education & Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related engineering fields / MCA with strong academic performance.
1–4 years of industry experience in Software QA.
Hands‑on experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
As a Software QA Engineer, you will:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, UI Trail, and languages such as Java and TypeScript.
Diagnose and resolve instabilities in automated test suites using structured problem‑solving approaches.
Share technical insights with peers and cross-functional teams when required.
Build a solid understanding of product architecture and interconnected functionalities to ensure comprehensive automation coverage.
Understand customer needs and common usage patterns to design relevant test scenarios.
Create clear and complete manual and automated test cases to validate product behavior.
Collaborate with Product Management and Development teams to review acceptance criteria and requirement specifications.
Establish and maintain efficient processes to ensure timely reporting of defects.
Support manual testing activities and analyze test failures to identify and report defects promptly.
Proficiency in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
Practical experience with Selenium and Playwright automation frameworks.
Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities and willingness to learn new technical areas.
Exposure to PLM/PDM systems is an added advantage.
Understanding of client‑server architecture and software application design.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl.
Experience in REST API testing and automation.
