About Wingify
What you'll do
What you'll bring
Good to have
Wingify helps the world's leading brands make every digital experience relevant. In 2026, VWO and AB Tasty, two pioneers in experimentation and personalization, merged to become Wingify, bringing nearly 15 years of experience from each company into one platform.
That platform, which we call Agentic Experience Optimization, brings together experimentation, personalization, customer insights, commerce optimization, feature management and customer engagement on a shared data foundation, with AI built in from the start, not bolted on. Our AI agent, Wings, can act as an autopilot for optimization within guardrails each customer sets.
Today, we serve around 4,000 customers, including L'Oréal, LVMH, Decathlon, Puma and De Beers. We're a profitable business with $105M+ in revenue and around 700 people across 11 offices worldwide.
Job Description:
As a Senior Engineer – QA, you'll own the quality of the Wingify platform across every surface our customers touch: the web application, the JavaScript library that runs on our customers' websites, and our mobile SDKs. Because our code runs on thousands of customer sites, quality issues reach millions of their visitors, not just our own users.
We work iteratively and ship often. You'll sit inside a scrum team, own its QA end to end, and build the automation and tooling that let us move fast without breaking things. You'll also help shape how we use AI in testing, from AI-assisted coding tools to testing AI-powered features like Wings.
What you'll do
- Own QA for your scrum team: scope, plan, estimate, execute and report on testing for every release.
- Work with Product, Engineering and Design to understand requirements early, then create, automate and maintain test plans, test cases and test reports.
- Build and maintain automated test suites across front-end/UI, API, mobile, load and performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Design and build internal QA tools and infrastructure, including test environments, Selenium Grid and Docker-based setups, and CI pipelines.
- Verify and reproduce bugs, debug on the client side, and drive root-cause analysis with developers.
- Act as the QA point of contact for customer-reported issues: investigate, reproduce and work with engineering to resolve them quickly.
- Manage deployments to test environments and understand how our code behaves across customer deployment scenarios.
- Use AI-assisted tools (such as Cursor or Windsurf) to speed up test creation and maintenance, and help define how we test AI-driven features.
- Champion testing best practices, maintainability and an end-user mindset across engineering.
- Share your work with the wider community through talks, open-source contributions or our engineering blog.
- 2-5 years of experience in manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications.
- Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with functional automation for web, mobile and APIs, using Selenium (or modern tools such as Playwright or Cypress) and Rest Assured for API testing.
- Experience testing backend systems, including databases, caches and message queues.
- Client-side debugging skills for root-cause analysis of bugs.
- Experience setting up and maintaining QA infrastructure, such as Selenium Grid and Docker.
- Working knowledge of Git and CI tools such as Jenkins.
- Hands-on use of GenAI tools in your daily work, including AI coding assistants such as Cursor or Windsurf.
- The analytical ability to understand complex application architecture and translate it into a sound test strategy.
- A strong eye for usability and the end-user experience.
- Ownership of QA processes in a scrum setting, with accurate estimation and planning.
- The ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Performance and load testing experience with tools such as JMeter, k6 or Gatling.
- Experience testing AI or LLM-powered features.
- Sound knowledge of Kafka internals and caching mechanisms.
- Experience with GCP or AWS.
- Experience with a range of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Contributions to QA-related open-source projects.
