Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to act as the focal point for all releases across our Payments, PE, and Catering programmes. The successful candidate will oversee release governance, release mechanics, deployment coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring best practices and high professional standards are maintained across all release activities.
  •  Manage and oversee end-to-end software releases across multiple programmes. 
  •  Maintain and communicate the Forward Schedule of Change (FSC). 
  •  Coordinate release pipelines, deployments, and release readiness activities. 
  •  Ensure effective Change Control, Release Checks, and Go/No-Go governance. 
  •  Support Service Transition activities and align release handovers across teams. 
  •  Document, refine, and continuously improve release management processes. 
  •  Lead release retrospectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 
  •  Capture and report release metrics, quality metrics, and DORA metrics. 
  •  Support auditability, compliance, and assurance activities for all releases. 
  •  Provide PMO-style governance support for release and work inception activities. 
  •  Manage problem management activities related to releases and deployments. 
  •  Coordinate release communications with stakeholders to a high professional standard. 
  •  Support reporting cycles with release-related insights and governance updates. 
  •  Ensure quality oversight for major and minor releases across the programme landscape.



Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Strong experience in Release Management and Release Governance. 
  •  Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO). 
  •  Expertise in CI/CD Pipelines, Release Pipelines, and Deployments. 
  •  Knowledge of DORA Metrics and release quality measurement. 
  •  Experience with Change Control and Release Readiness processes. 
  •  Understanding of Test Automation and Test Coverage practices. 
  •  Strong knowledge of Agile, Scaled Agile (SAFe), and Scrum methodologies. 
  •  Experience in Release Planning, Release Notes, and Deployment Coordination. 
  •  Familiarity with Go/No-Go processes and Change Failure analysis. 
  •  Knowledge of Branching Strategies and DevOps best practices. 
  •  Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills. 
  •  Experience supporting governance, audit, and compliance activities. 
  •  Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
