📝 Key Responsibilities SummaryThe role blends technical accounting with financial operations and process improvement.
Category Primary Focus
Technical Accounting Leading full-cycle revenue accounting (accruals, deferrals, journal entries, reconciliations), expertise in ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), and coordinating close processes.
Financial Operations (O2C)Managing and analyzing key Order-to-Cash accounts (AR, Deferred Revenue, Unbilled Revenue), cash flow forecasting, and collaborating with O2C teams (Billing, Collections).
Governance & Compliance Ensuring a strong SOX control environment, managing audit readiness, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Systems & Strategy Driving digitization, process standardization, financial data analytics, and collaborating on systems (Oracle ERP, Looker Studio) and the Center of Excellence (CoE) framework.
🌟 Most Important Qualifications & SkillsThe successful candidate must possess a blend of specific certifications, deep technical knowledge, and operational system skills:
Certification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience, specifically in Order to Cash (O2C) processes.
Technical Expertise: Expertise in revenue recognition under ASC 606 is paramount.
Operational Skills: Strong skills in cash flow forecasting, and proficiency with Oracle ERP.
Strategic Focus: Experience working within or building a Center of Excellence (CoE) framework and driving digitization/automation.
