Supports testing and implementation of fraud-risk and customer-experience strategies. Responsibilities include interpreting requirements, creating test plans and scenarios, executing UAT, managing testing artifacts, tracking defects, collaborating with stakeholders, and improving testing methodologies. The role requires manual testing, SQL, Unix command-line usage, JIRA, Confluence, QTest, Agile and waterfall experience, plus knowledge of credit card processing, mainframe systems, business rules engines, fraud detection, and responsible AI-assisted testing.
Responsibilities About the Team
This role will support testing and implementation of business-critical strategies to mitigate frauds and provide better customer experience
- Understanding the intent of a business requirement applying it across STLC
- Formulating test approach and test plan and detailing the dependencies and risk involved
- Execution of business scenario in UAT environment
- Partnering and collaborating with stakeholders for clarifying queries and sharing the testing status
- Ensuring testing artifacts are updated and saved as appropriate
- Share process enhancements, automation and innovation related to tools and practices to unlock greater efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Manage testing activities as well as setting and stewarding sound testing methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), with the ability to use approved AI tools for requirements analysis, test scenario generation, test data preparation, defect analysis, and testing documentation while adhering to data privacy, security, and responsible AI standards.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manual testing along with formulating test plans and approach, test scenarios and test scripts
- Experience in JIRA process, understanding of the process flow and creation of the task.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Confluence, QTest tool
- Writing and executing queries in SQL
- Unix operating system, working with command line.
- Experience with Agile and waterfall software development methodologies
- Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication with ability to edit and prepare executive level communications. Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines. Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships.
- Intellectual curiosity with a proven ability to learn quickly. High degree of initiative, self-direction, and ability to work well under pressure.
- Identify and implement responsible LLM/AI-assisted testing opportunities to improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and the quality of testing deliverables.
- Experience with mainframe screens, business rules engines
- Understanding of credit card lifecycle and cards transactions processing
- Experience with risk processing (Credit and Fraud detection and loss prevention)
