Lead SAP PP/QM implementation and rollout activities, including manufacturing and quality workshops, requirements documentation, configuration, testing, and integration design. Integrate SAP with MES, S/4HANA, planning systems, warehouse processes, and cross-functional modules. Coordinate enhancements, interfaces, workflows, transport management, and NPI activities. Drive process optimization, communicate project status and risks, and mentor junior consultants while collaborating with technical, business, and senior stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP-QM Consultant to join our team as a Senior Associate. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules, with proven experience in end-to-end SAP ECC implementation projects. This role requires a consultant who can independently handle client interactions, requirement gathering, prepare workshop materials, run fit-gap workshops, configuration, and support activities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support SAP PP-QM module implementation, configuration, and rollout activities across SAP ECC landscapes
Gather and analyze business requirements from client stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications
Configure SAP PP processes including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Orders, Master Data (BOM, Routing, Work Centers), Capacity Planning, and Repetitive/Discrete Manufacturing, Serial number management
Configure SAP QM processes including Quality Planning, Quality Inspection (Incoming, In-process, Final), Quality Notifications, Certificates of Analysis, and Batch Management
Work on integration points between PP-QM and other modules (MM, SD, FICO, PM)
Interfaces monitoring and reprocessing methods
Prepare functional specification documents (FSDs) for custom developments, enhancements, and reports
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Handle production support activities including issue resolution, root cause analysis, and change requests
Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP developers) for custom developments, enhancements, and interfaces
Participate in workshops, blueprint sessions, and client discussions
Ensure timely delivery of project milestones as per project timelines
Required Skills & Experience
5-6 years of relevant SAP PP-QM functional experience
Minimum 1-2 end-to-end SAP ECC implementation projects (full lifecycle: Blueprint to Go-Live and Support)
Strong hands-on configuration experience in PP and QM modules
Good understanding of manufacturing processes (Discrete, Repetitive, Variant Configuration, Kanban processes)
Working knowledge of integration with MM, SD, and FICO modules
Experience in handling client requirements independently
Exposure to production support and ticket handling (ITSM tools such as Jira, Solution Manager, etc.)
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Ability to prepare documentation such as FSDs, test scripts, and training materials
Good to Have
SAP ECC implementation experience with PP/QM certification
Experience with LSMW/BDC for data migration
Prior experience working in consulting/IT services environment
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field
