Senior Affiliate Marketing Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Affiliate Marketing Specialist to own and scale Quillbot's affiliate growth program end to end. You will drive partner recruitment, onboarding, and activation across a network of 2,000+ partners spanning product reviewers, comparison sites, creators, cashback platforms, and verified communities. You will optimize program performance, manage commercial terms, oversee quality control, and use structured analysis to improve CAC, ROAS, and partner ROI. You will partner with Creative, Product, Finance, and Legal to expand the partner ecosystem, enhance tracking and measurement, and ensure compliance and revenue quality. This position is a senior individual contributor role with direct ownership of partner relationships, program operations, and performance growth. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive affiliate marketing strategies to drive partner recruitment, activation, and revenue growth across Quillbot's global affiliate ecosystem. 
• Identify, recruit, and onboard strategic affiliate partners; negotiate and manage contracts, commission structures, and incentive programs to expand the network, drive performance, and maximize ROI.
• Setup and manage affiliate relationships end to end, including tracking codes, promotional offers, payment reconciliation, and ongoing partner support to ensure activation, retention, and positive relationships.
• Analyze affiliate performance across cohorts, geographies, and partner types, track and measure key metrics (conversion quality, revenue, CAC, LTV, fraud indicators) and present findings and optimization recommendations to senior management.
• Manage commission spend within approved budgets and recommend reallocations based on partner performance, growth opportunities, and ROI.
• Design and run structured tests across partner incentives, offers, audience segments, commission tiers, and campaign mechanics to optimize conversion rates and partner engagement.
• Partner with Creative to build compelling promotional materials, and affiliate assets to support partner activation, campaign execution, and engagement.
• Collaborate with Product, Brand, Data, and Engineering teams to align affiliate initiatives with business objectives, optimize tracking and attribution, implement fraud detection, and improve measurement accuracy.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, competition, technologies, regulatory changes, and best practices in affiliate marketing. Share insights and recommendations with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications 

• Bring 5+ years of hands-on affiliate marketing experience, preferably within a B2C subscription or consumer technology business.
• Demonstrate success recruiting, onboarding, and scaling affiliate partner networks, managing partner performance, and making data-based commission and budget recommendations against acquisition, revenue, and ROI goals.
• Bring deep hands-on experience with affiliate platforms and networks such as Impact, PartnerStack or comparable affiliate management systems.
• Analytical judgment to diagnose partner performance changes, identify high-potential segments, prioritize optimization opportunities, and translate data into practical partner and program actions.
• Understanding of attribution, fraud detection, and quality-control concepts and use measurement findings to inform partner recruitment, incentive design, and program decisions.
• Work confidently with performance findings and recommendations clearly through dashboards, written updates, and structured presentations to internal stakeholders and partners.
• Collaborate effectively across remote, cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Brand, Data, and Finance, manage multiple partner relationships and priorities with a high degree of ownership.
• Bring experience recruiting, onboarding, and managing affiliate partners across international markets.
• Have experience designing and analyzing structured tests or experiments to optimize partner incentives, offers, or conversion mechanics.
