Business Analyst, Logistics & Global Trade Compliance (GTC) Applications will work closely with business stakeholders to understand current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. They will elicit and document detailed requirements and collaborate with development teams for implementation.

General Responsibilities

  • Advises on analyses, articulation and presentation of complex data, in order to allow effective and timely management decisions.

  • Provides consistent data storage, access and update for all users.

  • Report and track solutions related to customer return issues; including but not limited to product, service and warranty.

  • Communicate with various functions, project families and regions on trends and measurable results.

  • Proactively plan for trends and implement training to mitigate repeat events.

  • Leads teams to create strategy based in actionable data which aligns with long term vision of a zero incidence culture
    Experience / Qualifications

  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • Business ethics - Ability to practice and behave consistently and effectively in areas of business practice and conflicts of interest.

  • Communication - Ability to communicate effectively by getting the right message across to the right people at the right time on a regular basis.

  • Customer Orientation - Ability to meet customers’ expectations by identifying and anticipating customers’ needs and integrating these into work; ability to develop new added value for customers and act with the customer in mind.

  • Budget Management - Ability to project and present annual operation Expense and Capital budget in departmental budget process

This exciting role will primarily focus on the Logistics & GTC business processes within Sensata supporting the software used to drive the key business processes and functionality. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining business requirements, functional design specifications, developing and executing test cases, and solving problems. They will also support continuous improvements across the business, as well as participate in, lead, or author investigations and root cause analysis for issues of non-compliance across cross-functional teams. 

  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle Modules and data structure – Logistics, Warehousing, GTC.

  • Provide daily support for Oracle production, enhancement projects and lean initiatives related to Oracle EBS Work directly with Solutions Delivery manager and business team members to understand the individual needs of the business 

  • Possesses expertise in business and systems analysis discussions to translate findings into clearly defined Business Requirements Document and Functional Design Document to communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders. 

  • Participate in System integration testing and User Acceptance testing with the business users to ensure high-quality delivery.

  •  Configuration skills of Oracle EBS or Oracle SaaS. 

  • Experience with Oracle OAC. 

  • Understanding of end-to-end processes i.e., Lead to Cash

  • Experience with integrations i.e., 3PL, EDI
