Job Title: Senior Digital Solution Proposal Engineer – Automation & Artificial Lift Systems
Location: Sensia India (Pune, Noida)
Experience: Minimum 10 years

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Digital Proposal Engineer with deep expertise in automation solutions in upstream oil & gas i.e. artificial lift methods (ESP, SRP, PCP, Gas Lift, etc.). The ideal candidate will lead the preparation of techno-commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client specifications and delivering competitive, value-driven Digital Solution Proposal ( RTU, Instruments, Telecommunication, Cloud/OnPrem SCADA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Management:
- Lead end-to-end proposal development for automation and artificial lift systems.
- Analyze RFQs, prepare technical and commercial offers, and ensure timely submission.
- Technical Expertise:
- Able to estimate engineering hours for solutions involving SCADA, PLC, RTU, and IIoT platforms.
- Provide Digital Solution Proposal for digital oil field mainly articial lift methods i.e. ESP, PCP, SRP, GL etc.
- Costing & Estimation:
- Prepare detailed cost sheets, cashflow, resource allocation, and engineering effort estimates.
- Client Engagement:
- Collaborate with sales teams and clients to clarify technical requirements.
- Participate in technical discussions and negotiations.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure proposals meet industry standards, client specifications, and internal quality processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in proposal engineering for oil & gas automation projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of Artificial Lift Systems (ESP, SRP, PCP, Gas Lift).
- Expertise in SCADA, PLC, RTU, and IIoT solutions.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
- Communication Protocals i.e. Modbus TCP, MQTT and fundamental understanding of OT/IT Integration.
