Job DescriptionRoles and responsibilities
- Lead the development and calibration of hydraulic models using platforms such as InfoWorks WS Pro, SynergiWater, and WaterGems, evaluating system pressures, flows, and network behavior. Employ both existing models and new builds to analyze asset performance and support network optimization.
- Integrate hydraulic modeling with GIS, asset management, and demand forecasting tools to support master planning and capital program development. Collaborate with stakeholders' engineers, project managers, and clients to translate modeling outputs into actionable design solutions and client deliverables. should be capable of leading multiple projects with different geographical locations at the same time.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and technical staff, promoting best practices, continuous improvement, and peer review.
- Additional skills like team management, project management, resource planning, project budget planning, estimation is must
- Drive innovation in modeling practices, adapting to new technologies, workflows, and industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering. 4 to 6 years’ proven experience in Revit modeling.
- Candidate should have minimum 5-9yrs of experience (Exposure to outside India projects preferably UK, USA, Canada, MER & ANZ region)
- Well versed with modelling software's SynergiWater, Innovyze InfoWorks WS, Bentley WaterGems. Experience with GIS software’s such as ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, QGIS, MapInfo
- Hands-on experience in Planning and Hydraulic Modelling for Water Infrastructure projects.
- Skilled in hydraulic model build, verification and calibration of Water supply network distribution and transmission network. Knowledge and understanding of international codes and standards.
- Ability to work well as part of a team or on an individual basis.
