In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with various stakeholders, including our experienced engineering team, Cloud Operations, Security, Compliance, and other key partners. Your primary focus will be on engineering practices to streamline our software development processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our cloud platform. You will gain hands-on experience with a variety of DevSecOps tools and application and platform technologies, helping to build and maintain our continuous integration and delivery pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment processes.
You will be involved in a wide range of tasks, including application and platform automation, infrastructure management, monitoring, and performance optimization. Your foundational understanding of application and platform engineering concepts, practices, and tools will be critical as you contribute to the implementation of best practices and the optimization of our platform workflows. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support architecture for complex applications ensuring they meet business requirements.
Configure, troubleshoot and monitor applications hosted on AKS / EKS/ ECS. Perform the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of other platforms. Conduct work activities using SRE principles, such as resilience, metrics, capacity planning, toil, Incident management and security. Manage cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, operations, QA, etc.) spread across India and US. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Implement and Manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Develop scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency. Build and help transform container and serverless architectures, such as AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Services), Docker and Azure Functions. Ensure software and platforms comply with security standards and regulations. Implement security best practices and conduct regular security assessments. Adhere to access controls and protect sensitive data. Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure setups. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Continuously improve systems, processes, and methodologies. Participate in project planning and execution. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine requirements. Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable and high-quality deliverables.

Performs other duties as assigned by management. On call rotation responsibilities with the Service Delivery and Operations Team

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field12 to 18 months of experience in supporting and working with products hosted in ASF.AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) management, including writing and maintaining modules.(Terraform/ARM/Bicep)Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python or GO Lang) for automation tasks and infrastructure management.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the DevSecOps engineering discipline, prefer enterprise engineering experience or equivalent. Experience with Application and Infrastructure Operations Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), including creating and managing pipelines. Comprehensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure,), including designing and implementing cloud services and architectures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, ensuring platform reliability and scalability.
Solid understanding about Observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack Understanding about Cloud Native way of working Understanding about Software engineering Principals. Experience on .net/java programming framework will be an added advantage. Thought Leadership and Soft skills:
