Senior, HRIS Analyst
Summary of Role:
Nasuni, a global leader in cloud file data services backed by Vista Equity Partners, is seeking a highly skilled Senior, HRIS Analyst to join our People team in Hyderabad, India. This role is pivotal in driving our AI-first approach to people systems, automating workflows, and delivering actionable insights across the organization. The HRIS Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing, maintaining, and enhancing our UKG Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The Senior, HRIS Analyst will be responsible for technical configuration, ongoing administration, security management, integration development, and reporting within the UKG platform. This role requires a deep understanding of UKG’s functional capabilities, technical architecture, and best practices, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- HRIS System Administration & Configuration: Serve as the primary administrator for all systems within the HR tech stack including UKG and Greenhouse, including configuration, maintenance, security, and data integrity. Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new modules/features. Leverage UKG features to enhance user experience, streamline processes, and increase adoption. Implement and optimize selected modules within UKG.
- AI: Develop and execute an AI-focused design methodology to automate processes, workflows, and data insights.
- Integrations: Design, build, and maintain robust UKG integrations with third-party systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop and optimize custom UKG reports and dashboards, providing key insights to various departments, utilizing tools like Greenhouse, Snowflake and Tableau. Develop and maintains standard and custom reports to meet recurring and ad-hoc requirements of HR, cross departmental management, and staff
- Security Management: Administer and audit UKG security to protect data and manage user access effectively.
- Support & Training: Provide advanced technical support and troubleshoot complex UKG issues for end-users and the HR team.
- Compliance/Audit: Manage and maintain data governance, compliance, and audit readiness across systems.
Other Duties:
- Participate in global People Operations projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Partner with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to define reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Stay up-to-date on HR technology trends, AI applications, and emerging best practices.
- Support compliance with Global and local labor laws, data privacy, GDPR, HIPPA, EEOC, and security requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, Data Analytics, InfoSec, Business Applications, and other Business Units Globally.
- Position requires a high level of responsibility regarding confidential information; must maintain confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS/ATS administration/analysis, with hands-on expertise in UKG / Ultipro, CultureAmp and Greenhouse (preferred).
- Proven experience designing and optimizing workflows, with an AI-first mindset.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience with system integrations and API-based connections.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred/Plus:
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, or similar analytics/visualization tools.
- Experience with Workato, DBT, Snowflake.
- Experience in a global SaaS or high-growth technology company.
- Familiarity with large ERP systems and advanced reporting functions.
