Senior .NET Developer (Financial Services, Wallstreet, ISO Standards, FX & Payments Domain)
Synechron is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with a strong background in financial services, specifically in FX and Payments domains. The ideal candidate will possess extensive team leadership experience, domain expertise, and familiarity with Wallstreet products and ISO implementation. This role is critical in guiding development teams, delivering high-quality solutions, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The position offers an opportunity to influence strategic technical directions and contribute to complex Wallstreet product implementations.
Software RequirementsRequired Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft .NET Framework/Core (versions 4.8, .NET 5/6)
- Strong knowledge of C# and ASP.NET MVC/Web API
- Experience with SQL Server and relational database management
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or TFS
- Development environment set up using Visual Studio (latest versions preferred)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud integrations (Azure/AWS)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (Angular, JavaScript)
- Lead and mentor development teams in designing, developing, and implementing solutions for FX and Payments applications
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Drive adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Oversee the integration of Wallstreet trading platforms and ISO standards into development efforts
- Conduct code reviews, facilitate technical discussions, and promote knowledge sharing within the team
- Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, providing progress updates to stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate technical and project risks proactively
- Stay updated with industry trends, especially in financial technology, and incorporate relevant innovations into projects

- Minimum of 8+ years in software development with leadership responsibilities
- Extensive experience in FX, Payments, or financial trading systems development
- Proven track record working with Wallstreet trading platforms and implementing ISO standards — highly advantageous
- Experience leading project teams and reviewing technical deliverables
- Past involvement in enterprise-level application deployment in financial institutions — preferred
- Conduct daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions with development teams
- Lead design, development, and deployment of high-performance financial applications
- Review code, guide technical architecture decisions, and ensure best practices
- Collaborate with product managers and business analysts to refine requirements and solutions
- Coordinate with QA and operations teams during testing, release, and support phases
- Mentor junior developers and promote professional growth within the team
- Stay informed about industry best practices, compliance standards, and emerging technologies relevant to Wallstreet systems and ISO implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer, Certified ScrumMaster, or equivalent) — preferred
- Extensive hands-on experience with .NET technology stack and financial domain systems
- Familiarity with Wallstreet trading products and ISO 20022 messaging standards — highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable solutions
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions and team collaboration
- Adaptability to changing project requirements and technological advancements
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive technical standards and best practices
- Effective time and priority management to meet project deadlines
