About the team:
We are the AI Platform Team! We are looking for a highly motivated, self-reliant, experienced Node.js engineer with DevOps skills, passionate about driving transformation within the AI organization.
This role will primarily support the AI Platform and services, providing machine learning infrastructure to researchers and data scientists globally. You will also drive the implementation of DevOps practices and provide customer support.
Job Functions:
You will be a member of our AI Platform Team, supporting the next-generation AI architecture for research and engineering teams:
Develop, maintain, and improve software solutions written in Node.js, integrating backend services with interactive UI components for ML workflow usability
- Partner with vendors and infrastructure engineering teams for security, performance, and service availability.
- Diagnose and solve production issues with engineering teams, researchers, and data scientists.
- Participate in training customers, preparing reports, and recommending product improvements.
- Write and maintain support documentation.
- Design and implement monitoring for zero-downtime, highly available services (99.999%).
- Automate operational processes to prevent recurring issues
- Collaborate with AI platform developers to implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and configuration.
- Develop and follow operational standards for tools and automation, including style guides, versioning practices, source control, branching/merging patterns, and development standards.
- Deliver solutions that accelerate engineering activities through automation, expertise, and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills:
Node.js / Software Development (70% focus):
- Strong experience designing, building, refactoring, and releasing software in JavaScript/Node.js.
- Web front-end/UI development experience
- Familiarity with Jupyter notebooks.
- Visual Studio Code plugin development – nice to have.
- Debugging and triaging skills.
DevOps / Infrastructure (30% focus):
- Proficient in Kubernetes, experienced with Docker.
- Linux fundamentals and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and continuous testing.
- Automating app deployment/configuration and performance monitoring.
- Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
Other Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills to collaborate with partners, customers, and engineering teams.
- Well-organized and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Good oral/reading/writing English skills.
