The PositionPosition Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pega Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in the Pega platform and a proven track record of delivering robust solutions in business process management (BPM) and decision management applications. The Pega Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Pega applications while collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-quality Pega applications and solutions.
Participate and lead the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Customize and configure Pega applications according to business needs.
Develop and maintain Pega applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks and tools.
Provide training and mentoring to other team members on Pega tools and best practices
Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards in Pega development.
Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and scalability testing to ensure optimal application performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Pega solutions with other systems and platforms.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Pega developers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3 to 8 Years of overall hands-on experience in Pega development.
Expertise in Pega frameworks, Case Management, workflows, and integration strategies.
Pega certification (CSA, CSSA, or CLSA) is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and Java.
Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
Experience in integrating Pega applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
