About Role:
A Product Owner is capable of working with Product Marketing, Sales, and directly with customers (both internal and external) to understand the problems facing the business and the vision for the products. You translate the requests and requirements into implementable solutions within an agile framework. You will be an integral part of a scrum team collaborating with infrastructure development and automation staff to break solutions into appropriate vertical business outcomes. You are comfortable in a ”Working software over comprehensive documentation environment” and guides the team to that goal. You view your assigned technology platforms as ‘yours’, take pride in being a subject matter expert for them, and hold the vision for what they should be becoming. Additionally, you’re actually a player/coach. You’ve helped a couple organizations transition to Agile helping shape the strategy as well as deliver content and exercises to drive transformation. Technical acumen and background is helpful and expected.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Own the Product roadmap and backlog for the Global Platform Infrastructure Team, including rollout out our new features, releases of assigned areas (current products are listed below):
- Linux Patching Platform
- Log Analytics
- OS Management
- RDS Management
- Standard OS Server Services
- Gathering of customer, business, and technical requirements and filtering them down into product backlogs.
- Full knowledge and understanding of the product and the process.
- Ensures solutions meet current customer need.
- Daily representation of the customer or end user in the scrum team to clarify questions on backlog items.
- Creating mockups and prototypes to support project direction.
- Shaping agile transformation strategy
- Delivering scrum exercises and content
Required Skills:
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly; work independently with little guidance; multi-task and set priorities

- Demonstrated ability to understand the big picture solution and then craft requirements into actionable use cases, epics
