Role
We are looking for a Senior Professional Services Resident Consultant to join our Professional Services team. This is an Onsite, Mumbai role , reporting to the Manager, Professional Services. In this role, you will be the strategic face of Zscaler for our enterprise clients, deep-diving into unique customer environments to architect, configure, and integrate solutions on our industry-leading Zero Trust platform. You bring a strong consultant mindset, exceptional customer-facing acumen, and deep deployment expertise to collaborate closely with sales, external partners, and cross-functional teams—ensuring our customers achieve seamless, timely, and secure transformations.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Serve as a dedicated technical advisor for strategic enterprise customers over extended engagements (6 months, 1 year, or longer)
- Act as the customer's "Go-To" expert for all matters related to their Zscaler deployment, adoption, and optimization
- Architect, configure, and integrate ZIA, ZPA, and broader Zero Trust Exchange solutions into complex enterprise environments
- Lead technical discovery, solution design, and migration planning workshops with customer stakeholders
- Collaborating with sales, external partners, and customer teams to provide consultancy and deployment services.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Professional Services Consultant, Network/Security Specialist, Technical Account Manager, Support/Escalation Engineer, or SOC Engineer
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating Zscaler solutions — ZIA and ZPA
- Strong knowledge of authentication systems: SAML, and SSO/IdP integrations
- Solid foundation in networking and security fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, PAC files, GRE/IPSec tunnels, proxies, and firewalls
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consultative skills — comfortable engaging with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with solutions built on Microsoft Azure, AWS, and other leading cloud platforms
- Familiarity with hypervisors: VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM
- Industry certifications such as ZDTA / ZDTE, or CISSP
