The Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for leading the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects. About the Role:
- Lead the design and analysis of civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, water systems, and infrastructure works
- Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports
- Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff
- Coordinate with architects, surveyors, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local codes, industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or construction-related issues
- Prepare and review tender documents, cost estimates, and contract documents
- Liaise with clients and regulatory authorities to obtain approvals and permits
- Support continuous improvement in engineering practices and project delivery
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Minimum 8–12 years of relevant civil engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, ETABS)
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles
