Iron Mountain is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join our Data Centers team.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end execution, design coordination, commissioning, and safe delivery of mission-critical electrical infrastructure projects while ensuring strict adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering, construction, site operations, utility providers, and external contractors to build world-class, resilient data center infrastructure.
What You’ll Do In this role, you will:
End-to-End Project Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mission-critical electrical infrastructure projects from initial concept through Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), integrated commissioning, and final handover.
Engineering & Design Oversight: Manage multidisciplinary technical reviews for Extra High Voltage (EHV), High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), and Low Voltage (LV) power systems, substations, switchgear, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, and monitoring platforms.
Construction & Vendor Management: Oversee Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors, suppliers, and field teams to monitor progress, resolve technical and commercial challenges, and ensure high-quality, safe project delivery.
Commercial & Contract Control: Manage project budgets, forecasting, vendor proposals, variations, and contractor claims while ensuring cost controls and alignment with procurement strategies.
What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate will have:
17+ years of experience in the design, engineering, and execution of large-scale electrical infrastructure projects, including mission-critical data centers or heavy industrial facilities.
Strong knowledge of EHV, HV, MV, and LV power distribution systems, grid substations, power system studies, and data center redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N, 2N+1).
Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale project schedules, EPC contracts, multidisciplinary engineering interfaces, and stakeholder communications.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's Degree in Power Systems or Project Management, and certifications such as Project Management Professional [PMP] or Certified Data Centre Professional [CDCP] preferred).
