Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our innovative team. This position plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications using Python, contributing directly to our strategic business objectives. The Lead Python Developer will leverage their expertise in Python frameworks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust digital solutions.
Software Requirements
Required Proficiency:
- Python: Advanced level, with experience in software development
- Django, Flask, or Pyramid: Expertise in at least one popular Python framework
- ORM (Object-Relational Mapping): Proficient knowledge
Preferred Proficiency:
- Front-end technologies such as JavaScript and HTML5: Familiarity
Overall Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Python applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver project requirements.
- Ensure high-quality code by implementing best practices and conducting thorough testing.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for Python applications.
- Identify areas for improvement in existing systems and contribute to continuous enhancement efforts.
- Mentor and guide junior developers to foster a collaborative and innovative development environment.

Programming Languages:
- Required: Python (advanced)
- Preferred: JavaScript (basic knowledge)

Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, specifically with Python.
- Demonstrated expertise in using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a collaborative environment.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Engage in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to align development efforts with project goals.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality across the team.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to refine application requirements and specifications.
- Develop scalable and maintainable code solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and innovative ideas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
