Overview
Are you a Salesforce Data Cloud expert passionate about turning raw data into meaningful customer experiences? We're looking for a hands-on Data Cloud Consultant who can unify complex data sources, architect scalable data models, and build intelligent segmentation and activation strategies — all while ensuring governance and compliance at every step.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Integration & Modeling: Ingest data from various sources, configure data streams, and build data models to unify customer data.
- Solution Design: Develop and implement custom Data Cloud applications, including creating segmentation, activation, and insights.
- API & Backend Development: Use Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL/SOSL to connect Data Cloud with Salesforce and external systems.
- Data Governance & Security: Implement data privacy, consent management, and security protocols.
- Analytics & Reporting: Integrate data with Tableau and Einstein AI for actionable insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Generally 5+ years in Salesforce development, with specific experience in Data Cloud (or formerly Genie/Customer 360).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (for calculated insights), Data Cloud modeling (Data Model Objects - DMOs), and data ingestion strategies.
- Certifications: Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant or Developer certification is often required.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of data management, ETL processes, and API integrations.
