What you’ll own
- End-to-End Automation & Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain moderately complex test automation frameworks and tools, integrating them with Continuous Integration (CI) infrastructure for automated web, API, and RESTful service testing.
- White Box & Lifecycle Testing: Write and execute application tests at the source code level (unit, component, TDD/BDD), identifying improper coding structures and deficiencies to prevent hidden errors early in the development lifecycle.
- Performance, Load & Security Validation: Develop test scripts and analyze application performance, load, and security, utilizing service virtualization tools to emulate dependent system components and prevent performance bottlenecks.
- Test Strategy & Environment Management: Build and deploy testing environments, manage test data conditioning, and collaborate with business and development stakeholders to construct intricate test cases and ensure Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance.
- Project Coordination: Act as the single point of contact for assigned client projects, coordinating test team activities, reviewing client test plans, and prioritizing execution to deliver high-quality outcomes.
What you’ll bring
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience considered).
- Core Professional Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software testing, coding, designing, and automated tool development.
- Technical Engineering Skills: Proven proficiency in white box testing, CI/CD pipeline integration, service virtualization tools, and scripting against non-UI components like APIs and RESTful web services.
- Analytical Problem Solving: A seasoned, experienced professional capability with a full understanding of software testing specializations, showing a track record of resolving a wide range of structural and functional code issues.
It’s a bonus if you have
- Extended Domain Expertise: 6+ years of experience developing automated testing strategies across a wide variety of infrastructure environments and frameworks.
