Overview
A Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer/Lead acts as the senior strategist and technical expert responsible for developing, scaling, and leading the Salesforce Commerce Cloud competency center. They define best practices (SFRA, PWAkit), lead pre-sales solutions, manage team performance, and ensure high-quality delivery, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Practice Leadership & Strategy: Define the vision, roadmap, and growth strategy for the SFCC practice. Own the practice P&L, including utilization, margins, and revenue growth.
- Technical Authority: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on SFCC B2C Commerce (SFRA, SiteGenesis, Composable Architecture). Oversee technical design, complex implementations, and integrations.
- Pre-Sales & Account Management: Support sales by creating proposals, estimations, and leading RFPs. Act as a senior client-facing leader for project, delivery reviews, and strategic discussions.
- Delivery Excellence: Establish delivery governance, quality standards, and CI/CD best practices. Ensure performance, security, and scalability standards are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of total IT experience, with significant leadership experience in SFCC.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in SFCC B2C Commerce (SFRA, PWA Kit), JavaScript, pipelines, controllers, REST/SOAP APIs, and platform integration patterns.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic mindset.
- Certifications: Advanced certifications are preferred.
