This position may be a hybrid or fully remote position, as decided by your manager. If designated as hybrid, you’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office location, so you should live within commuting distance. If designated as remote, you’ll be working remotely from your home and may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings. We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with experience with NodeJS, React, and a low-level language (C/C++, Java, Rust, Golang) to be a part of our team working on powering the next generation of experiences for our internal customers.

The development stack includes React, Node and Rust along with other modern technologies including AWS services like EC2, Lambda, EKS, Kinesis, & DynamoDB.
What you'll get to do...
- Write great code and create unit and integration tests that prove it
- Participate in planning, architecture, implementation, and maintenance of client and server-side platforms and tools that engineering teams across the company depend on
- Perform code reviews and participate in suggesting and supporting coding best practices
Your experience should include...
- Experience working with highly agile development teams
- 5+ years of experience coding in a low-level language (C/C++, Java, Rust, Golang)
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- You have a strong understanding of JavaScript (client and server)
- Experience designing and building highly scalable APIs and micro-services
- You have a strong understanding of modern front-end technologies such as React
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Understanding of standard web technologies (HTTP, JSON, Network topology, etc.)
- Experience with DevOps and understand what deployment means using systems like docker, AWS and/or Kubernetes
