Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ years of experience in Java, J2EE Spring Boot, Micro Services
- Experience in JDK11+ is must
- Cloud based software development - AWS or Azure
- Domain experience in Capital Markets / Investment banking
- MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Kafka or other event driven software
- Kubernetes
- Junit, Selenium, Qmetry or other Automation frameworks that support BDD constructs
- Tomcat Application Server, Netty or Weblogic
- Maven, Gradle or any other build frameworks
- Individual Contributor role in Debt Capital Market technology team in India
- Deliver technology solutions leveraging the suite of application in DCM area
- Collaborate effectively with all the stakeholders including DCM business teams, technology, QA and support teams
- Follow EASP process diligently during Production releases
- Ensure CI/CD pipeline is enabled across the DCM suite of applications and followed diligently
- Coordinate well with the support team to ensure production outages are handled effectively within the stipulated SLAs
- Look for opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of the DCM suite of applications
