Position Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Manufacturing Data Model (MFGDM) team, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing key components of the Manufacturing Data Model (MFGDM) platform. Collaborating with teams across the globe, including the US, Canada, India, and China, you will work on building scalable, high-quality web applications and tools that drive Autodesk’s next-generation Design & Manufacturing Platform.
You will work in a hybrid environment based in Pune, India, reporting directly to an Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities

Collaborate within a global Manufacturing Data Model (MFGDM) development group and work as part of a scrum team with 4-5 engineers

Contribute to customer/project requirements by working closely with team members

Design, implement, validate, and deploy Manufacturing Data Model (MFGDM) modules, components, and services
-
Collaborate with other scrum teams across geographies to ensure seamless integration
-
Develop tools to enhance service quality, including resiliency analysis, performance monitoring, and automated testing
-
Apply best engineering practices in daily work and actively participate in global technical discussions
-
Drive initiatives from start to finish and encourage innovation across the team

Take ownership of key projects and contribute to Autodesk’s data strategy
Minimum Qualifications
-
5–8 years of experience in TypeScript and Node.js/JavaScript development
-
Proven experience in building scalable, high-quality web-based applications
-
Familiarity with major JS frameworks such as React.js or similar technologies

Strong fundamentals and hands-on project experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
The Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in Technology or Science-related fields

Willingness to embrace challenges and step outside the comfort zone to grow

Strong collaboration and communication skills; a team player

Exposure to cloud project development is highly preferred

Hands on experience in C++ or Java

Working knowledge of AWS or database technologies is a plus

Exposure to best practices in scalable cloud-based development

Experience in handling end-to-end projects in a global, collaborative environment
